Bluebird Care Bromley

Home Care - Bluebird Care Bromley

At Bluebird Care Bromley we believe passionately in preserving independence and improving the quality of life of vulnerable people by offering sustainable solutions to some of the problems often associated with frailty, lone-living and isolation.

We provide a range of Home Care (daily visits and overnight) & Live-in Care services which offer older adults – including those with challenges around mobility, sensory impairment and Dementia – a realistic alternative Residential Care, meaning that they can continue to live independent lives in the comfort and safety of their own homes, surrounded by the things that matter to them and the memories they cherish, and where important social networks can be preserved.

Indeed, we aim to provide the same standard of Care that we would expect for our own relatives. To us, this means doing more than simply delivering practical support and meeting people’s basic needs: we aim to go the extra mile to make sure all our customers get the most out of life.

All our Care Assistants are carefully vetted, trained to a high-level and regularly supervised by an experienced, professional and local office team never more than a few miles away.

Harnessing the power of mobile technology

At Bluebird Care Bromley, our staff now follow digital Care plans on their mobile phones using the PASSsystem – a far more efficient, secure and reliable system than the paper ones it replaced.

The PASSsystem allows Care Assistants to update care notes and medication records instantly, and facilitates near real-time transfer of this information back to staff in the office. Changes to Care plans, following a review meeting with a customer, can be similarly recorded by Supervisors and made “live” at the push of a button.

The PASSsystem also has a sister app, openPASS, which gives approved relatives, advocates or neighbours remote access to care plans, care notes, weekly rosters and staff attendance times.

With the PASSsystem & openPASS, we are better positioned to make informed decisions, take quicker action where required, and are able to offer a safer, more responsive, more transparent service as a result.

Following on from the success of the PASSsystem, we have also launched a ground-breaking interactive Staff Guide Mobile App, an intuitive and easy-to-use offline resource that enhances the availability of critical information to Care Assistants in the field in order to deliver the very best Care at Home.

By combining our expertise in Domiciliary Care with the latest technology, Bluebird Care is proud to be at the forefront of change in the care industry: embracing transparency, driving continuous service improvement and empowering our Care Assistants to deliver excellence in Care.
