You will also be safe in the knowledge that your Will has been drafted and executed by a firm of Solicitors, properly regulated and with particular expertise in this field.

Moreover, we are able to assist in providing advice in ensuring that clients’ financial affairs are managed in such a way as to minimise liability for Inheritance Tax. This will often be with the input of an external firm of Financial Planners.

We can also assist with Lasting Powers of Attorney.  

The important aspect of LPAs is that they must be made while you still have mental capacity. They cannot be made once a person becomes incapable. As such, at Wadsworths we advise all clients, however old and in whatever state of health, to consider making an LPA, to ensure that should the worst happen and mental capacity is lost, their wishes are already recorded and will be honoured.

The cost of Will and LPA’s are kept deliberately low in the hope of encouraging as many people as possible make them, or to keep their existing wishes updated.
